Home Reading Program

Each student has received a “Home Reading Program Pouch” in which they can carry their books to and from home.

Each student has received an “Incentive Sheet” with strips on it. After your child has read, and met their specific minutes/goal each night, a parent or guardian is asked to initial one box on the incentive sheet. Only one box can be initialed each night, regardless of the amount of time spent reading.

As your child completes one full strip they are to hand the strip in to their homeroom teacher, whereby the teacher will tear off the strip and submit their name into a jar.

On the last Friday of each month, during morning broadcast there will be one name drawn from each classroom jar.

If your child’s name is drawn you will have a free pizza lunch with our Principal, Mrs. Esposito-Brady.
