Mrs. Bergevin-Tran

I am very excited to be teaching Grade 4 again this year. While at St. John Bosco

I have taught grades 1, 2 and FSL. My personal mission as a teacher is to create a

classroom community where each child feels safe, welcomed and respected. I want to inspire my students to explore, learn, and share their God given talents with others. I believe that creating authentic learning experiences and working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the community will allow my students to achieve their highest potentials.

I Believe . . .

  • That each child is a gift from God with unique talents to share.

  • That students need a safe and welcoming environment where they are respected and nurtured.

  • That learning experiences need to be meaningful, engaging, and student centered.

  • That as a Catholic Educator, it is my role to help guide students on their faith journey.

I am excited to start my first year with ECSD at St John Bosco! This year I will be the Grade 5A homeroom teacher, as well as teaching part-time in Grade 4C. I look forward to getting to know the students, staff and families that make up the St. John Bosco School community!

I Believe . . .

  • Children will only truly show respect when they receive it themselves.

  • That students will rise to meet the expectations set for them, so your expectations should always be high but within reach.

  • As an educator, I am responsible for facilitating a safe and engaging environment where students can expand their knowledge and grow as individuals.

  • Aspects of religion should be casually intertwined throughout our everyday lives, not isolated to only a religion class or church. How this looks will be different for every person. â€‹â€‹
